So, did you notice what changed? The Excerpt on the onedaybow.com website now contains Part One and Two of The Bridge from OneDayBow! I envision some teenage boy, or an elderly woman in China who managed to peak in on the website and will now have a chance to hear the Gospel (Good News!) of Jesus Christ and learn how we as followers of Jesus are able to Stand in the faith! (Hello Beijing!) Some might say, “That would be a miracle.” Well then, we’ve come to the right place!

So, as you have read, Tim finally made it! One minute he was outside of the Kingdom, and the next he was in. There is something about that fact that is fascinating to me, something that stirs an awe similar to childbirth. Everything changes in an instant and there is no going back. Can you imagine a baby finally emerging from the birth canal and then fighting to go back in – impossible! Even if such a thing were to cross their mind, one look at the one who carried and delivered them safely should remove all doubt that this new place is home!

Isn’t that how it is for believers in the Lord Jesus Christ? Granted, there are some places in our world that even mentioning His Name is dangerous, but would you ever want to go back? No way! And whether you’re from Singapore or Istanbul or Chicago, the Kingdom is as near as one heartfelt prayer for His salvation, and as real as home. And even though we physically have to hang around this world for a while for His good purpose, by His Holy Spirit we are already living in His Presence.

You won’t catch even a hint of regret in Tim’s words in Chapter 9. He is where he was created to be. And what he now voices is his intention to get the Truth out to HereAndNow and lead as many people as possible to this amazing place, to the Presence of the King.

But, the million-dollar question is: How can Tim possibly leave the King? After all, he just arrived and hasn’t even had a chance to scope out the land yet. I think it’s safe to say that Tim doesn’t have to figure it out. The King has a plan and he is sure to lead in the way that’s best for Tim and the people that need to hear.

Tim has a lot to learn about this new life, in this new place, and there will even be some things that we will learn as well, like what it really means to stand!
