After many weeks since my last post, I thought I should check in. Perhaps you stopped by the website and wondered if I crossed the Bridge and didn’t return…

Five weeks ago my husband, Bill, had a serious accident that resulted in multiple fractures. We thank God for sparing his life, and that his injuries were not more serious. He still has all his limbs, his eyes and sight, and no head injuries.

One morning he left for work, and before noon I received the call concerning the accident. In a matter of hours our future was changed dramatically–at least from our perspective. From God’s side, there was no surprise or scrambling to figure out what to do next. He sees the bigger picture and has the greater plan. Trusting Him doesn’t alleviate every problem or erase every pain, but because of Who He is we know that the story isn’t over yet.

We are grateful in the uncertainty of life that we trust in a God Who knows no uncertainties. Speaking of uncertainty, I am uncertain when I will resume blogging, but God knows. In the meantime, your prayers for Bill’s recovery are greatly appreciated!
